VicRoads have received advice from the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions that VicRoads is categorised as an essential service under the Public Industry and Safety sector of the government’s Industry Restrictions framework.
VicRoads is continuing to provide services in line with current COVID-19 restrictions across Victoria.
Drive tests, computer-based tests and medical review tests have been re-suspended across Victoria; with the exception of priority tests conducted under our hardship and special circumstances policy. All Customer Service Centres across the state remain open, offering limited services. Call centre and digital channels continue to operate us usual.

Behaviour Change Program (BCP), Safe Driving Program (SDP) providers, and Alcohol Interlock suppliers have prepared a COVID Safe Plan to ensure participants well-being.
